Kioni General Terms & Conditions Summary

Welcome to Kioni! We’re honoured to share our handcrafted designs with you. These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases and agreements made with Kioni Goods (Pty) Ltd (“Kioni”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), whether through our website, email, social media, or other communication channels. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If anything is unclear, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help.
1. Our products
1.1. Each Kioni piece is handmade with care by skilled artisans. No two items are exactly alike — slight variations in bead placement, size, colour, or design are a testament to their handmade nature and are not considered defects.
1.2. We strive to represent our products as accurately as possible. However, variations in screen displays, lighting, or material availability may cause colours or textures to differ slightly from what appears online or in promotional materials.
2. Orders & payment
2.1. Orders are only confirmed upon written acceptance (email or official invoice confirmation). Custom and wholesale orders may require additional documentation.
2.2. Wholesale Orders: Minimum order quantities (MOQs) apply and will be outlined in your quotation or product line sheet.
2.3. Payment Terms:
Full payment is required before production or dispatch, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods include:
- EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
- PayFast (for local card payments)
- PayPal or direct international bank transfer (for international orders; details available on request)
2.4. All prices are quoted in the currency relevant to the order's origin. Clients are responsible for any associated bank, PayPal, or currency conversion fees.
2.5. Kioni reserves the right to cancel any order prior to production or dispatch. If this occurs, you will be notified, and any payments made will be fully refunded.
3. Lead times & delivery
3.1. As most products are made-to-order, standard lead times apply:
- Wholesale: 6–8 weeks, depending on complexity and volume.
- Retail or custom: Timeframes will be confirmed upon order.
3.2. Shipping timelines depend on your location. You’ll receive tracking details once your parcel is dispatched.
3.3. We use trusted third-party couriers locally and internationally. Once dispatched, parcels are the responsibility of the courier. Kioni is not liable for delays, losses, or damages during transit, but we will do our best to assist with claims or tracking issues.
3.4. Incorrect delivery addresses supplied by the Client are not the responsibility of Kioni.
